Adele made her triumphant return with ‘Hello‘ last month and in the past few weeks, the piano ballad has received critical claim and a plethora of remixes, including one by rapper Rick Ross. British producer Kryder is now putting his spin on the slow song, bringing in a new uptempo sound and hard-hitting drums on his DnB Remix.
Overlaying the piano track from the original with lush pads and sharp arpeggiations, the song builds up before dropping into a solid break beat, breathing a new energy into the song. The pads give way for a set of glitzy strings, blending the acoustic feel of Adele’s original with the classic driving Drum N Bass feel. Kryder’s remix is a pretty standard Drum N Bass remix, but he does it well, turning a slow ballad into a fun energetic song.
