Qwiver is the brainchild of Mumbai based DJ Lynston. Born in theearly 90’s, Music has always been a passion for this versatile DJ.However, the thought of being a Disk Jockey only occurred to himin 2006 when he played at his 1st private party. There has been absolutely no stopping this 22 year old ever since, who has spun
at more than 200 private gigs. However, the year 2013 has witnessed the launch of his techno alter ego – Qwiver.
Qwiver’s inclination toward Techno, not just as a genre of music, but as a lifestyle in general began a few years back when he and a few friends started a new venture to promote techno artists and gigs. Under the Blithe banner, they conceptualized a variety of techno driven nights with major Indian and international artists. He is also the co-owner of the newly founded ‘Blithe Podcast’ that seeks to promote underground dance music.
As a DJ, Qwiver’s range of music stretches from Deep House to Minimal, with Tech-House and Techno being his main genres of interest. His choice of sound is a unique mix of groove and intricate detail. Qwiver’s conceptual DJ sets, both in the studio for his podcast as well as in his live recordings from gigs he has
played at is a true indicator of his understanding of techno anddance music in general.
Lynston has spent a fair amount of time on the decks at some of the leading venues in Mumbai. The newly launched project too has already had its time in the limelight with Qwiver’s debut and follow up gigs at F-Bar Mumbai. Be sure to tune in, either toQwiver’s online podcast or catch him Live at a club near you!

The definition of a band generally invokes the stereotypical image of a couple of people blaring out redundant rhythms and the ubiquitous love ballad. But sometimes all that’s needed is a few good men to spin a traditional concept into something refreshingly new.
It’s the incessant bass, screaming arpeggios and piercing percussions that truly define Helium Project. His sound is all about paying homage to his first love, “Music”, and particularly about an explosive electronic experience.
Perhaps just “Electronica” could define the resulting product—but then, it isn’t about neat packaging. It’s about pushing the envelope and fusing influences to create a distinctive brand of urban Indian dance music. And that is exactly what Helium Project does.
