Two weekends, 78 hours of music, 400,000 attendees: 2014 marked Tomorrowland’s biggest blowout to date. For the ID&T festival’s 10th anniversary, the masses convened in Boom, Belgium from all corners of the globe; and now we get to relive it all with the official Tomorrowland after-movie.
For 32 high-octane minutes, fans get the full scope of the global gathering’s massive crowds, jaw-dropping pyrotechnics, elaborate set designs and of course highlights from the huge roster of main stage pros. Get a bird’s eye view of FOMO-inducing moments from Armin van Buuren, Alesso, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, snippets of that Hardwell and Tiësto back-to-back closer, and so much more.
The impressive cinematography of the short film is only matched by its party-ready soundtrack. Tomorrowland veterans Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are credited with creating the mix that accompanies all the dazzling on-screen action. (It sounds like the duo paid close attention to the weekend’s favoured hits, too, with the inclusion of a number of the festival’s most Shazamed songs.)
For those who are already counting down the days until the festival’s 2015 return, next year you’ll have two continents to choose from. In the festival’s 11th year, ID&T is expanding to South America, setting up shop in São Paulo next May. In the meantime, behold the after-movie below, and get set for those goosebumps.
